Important: On Saturday from 9 β 10 a.m., roughly 40 Army service members will conduct a National Park Serviceβpermitted Flag Day march around Castillo de San Marcos and the bayfront to celebrate their 250th anniversary. This ceremony is entirely separate from our rally and will conclude by 10 a.m. when the group departs for their next engagement.
Getting There & Parking
Traffic will be heavy on San Marco Ave β arrive early and plan ahead!
Great visibility for sign-waving along the route.
Parking Tips:
– Limited paid parking is available at the Fort β likely to fill up before 9:30 AM.
– We recommend the City Parking Garage at 1 Cordova St β a short walk, more availability, and close to restrooms.

Peaceful Protest Guidelines
This is a permitted, peaceful event.
We are working in coordination with the National Park Service (NPS) and the St. Augustine Police Department to ensure everyone’s safety.
Do not engage with counter-protesters: IGNORE THEM!
No talking
No touching
No responding
Just walk away
Look for yellow-vested safety volunteers if you need support.
Do not block sidewalks, streets, or entrances.
Bullhorns may be used at the Fort, but amplified sound is not allowed during the march.

Important NPS Rules:
– Stay within the designated protest zone.
– Do not stake signs in the ground or attach anything to park property.
– Keep public pathways, driveways, and entrances clear at all times.
– All signs must be removed when the event ends.
– Emergency and pedestrian access must not be obstructed.
These rules are enforced under 36 CFR 2.51 and apply to all protest activity.
