OPPOSE VINDICTIVE JUDGES

The U.S. Senate will soon vote whether or not to confirm Emil Bove to serve as a judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals Third Circuit. Bove was a lead defense attorney for several of Trump’s criminal cases. More recently, he used his position above the acting deputy attorney general to request lists of FBI agents who investigated participants in the January 6^th attack on the Capitol and fired prosecutors hired to work on those cases. He also told prosecutors to drop charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams in hopes of gaining Adams’ support on immigration raids. This would be a lifetime position for a man who is only 44 years old, giving him decades to wreck havoc.

Tell our U.S. senators that even conservatives (including the National Review and a former law clerk for Justice Antonin Scalia) oppose Bove, and they should, too. Our senators should vote against Emil Bove’s confirmation for the U.S. Court of Appeals. His disregard for democracy and focus on vengeance over justice make him a terrible choice.
