DESCRIPTION:Description\n\nJoin Indivisible St. Johns County for a peaceful\, nonviolent pop-up visibility action in St. Augustine to stand against ICE abuses and authoritarianism\, and in support of human rights and the rule of law. \nWhen: Saturday\, April 18\, 2026 10 am – 11:30 AM EST Where: Foot of Bridge of Lions Downtown side (look for the group with signs) \nPlan & Safety Guidelines (please read): \nPeaceful + nonviolent event. We’re here to be visible and be heard—no intimidation\, no confrontation. If there are agitators\, ignore them. Please do not speak to them\, and encourage others to ignore them. \nDo not block sidewalks\, driveways\, or traffic. Keep pathways clear and stay aware of pedestrians/bikes. \nFollow basic de-escalation: don’t engage with hecklers; don’t argue—wave\, smile\, and refocus. The peace sign is always a good counter to a rude gesture. \nIf you feel unsafe at any time\, step away and notify an organizer. \nBring: Signs (keep them readable) We also provide signs. Water and EXTRA Water Sunblock / hat Comfortable shoes A friend or two \nWhy it matters: Strength in numbers—and visibility matters.
