Join us on Tues 4/15 @ 5:30PM

Indivisible SJC is just getting started.

We launched in January right after the inauguration and have since merged with St. Augustine’s original Indivisible group. We’ve already organized two local rallies — Presidents Day and the April 5th Hands Off — and are actively coordinating with nearby groups.

We’re standing up for what matters to all Floridians: Social Security, Medicare, Veterans benefits, clean air and water, public schools, free speech, and more.

Now, we want to meet you.

Join us Tuesday, April 15 at 5:30 PM at the Main Branch of the St. Johns County Library. This is a chance to connect in person, share your ideas, and help shape what Indivisible SJC becomes. We’re just getting started, and your voice matters.

👉 Let us know you’re coming by filling out this quick RSVP form — it helps us plan and saves you a seat! 💙✍️

Save the Date: April 19 National Day of Action 🗓️✊

📣 Save the Date: Saturday, April 19 – National Day of Action

We’re organizing our next rally Saturday, April 19 from 3–5 PM as part of the #50501 National Day of Action. We’re working to secure a permit for the Fort and will share the confirmed location as soon as we have it.

This event will highlight two urgent calls to action:

1. Nourish Our Local Community 🍎

Many of our local nonprofits are already feeling the strain — and the stakes are only getting higher. We’re inviting 5–7 speakers from local organizations to share how their work supports our most vulnerable neighbors, and how recent policies are putting that work at risk.

Are you involved with a nonprofit? Hit “reply” and let us know — we’d love to include your voice.

Bonus: Interested in a canned food drive? We’re open to organizing a collection for the St. Johns Food Pantry. Let us know!

2. Hands Off, Continued 💪 + A Day of Service

We’re keeping up the momentum from our April 5 rally. While April 19 falls on Easter weekend — with a parade and evening services downtown — we won’t be marching this time, but we will be showing up, speaking out, and serving our community.

🗓️ Mark your calendar — and stay tuned for location confirmation and more details. Let’s make this one count.

The SAVE ACT. IMPORTANT!

🚨 TAKE ACTION: Stop the SAVE Act in the Senate!

The dangerous SAVE Act has already passed the House — and now it’s headed to the Senate. This is our only chance to stop it.

✅ GOOD NEWS: The bill needs 60 votes to pass — and Republicans only have 53.

❗ BAD NEWS: They’re targeting moderate Democrats to help them cross the finish line.

This bill is voter suppression disguised as “election integrity.” It could block married women from voting due to name changes and disproportionately impacts already marginalized voters.

📞 CALL YOUR SENATORS NOW — TELL THEM TO VOTE NO ON THE SAVE ACT:

Sen. Rick Scott: (202) 224-5274

Sen. Ashley Moody: (202) 224-3041

📣 KNOW ANYONE IN THESE STATES? GET THEM TO CALL TOO.

The GOP only needs 7 Democrats — and these 12 Senators are most at risk of flipping:

Catherine Cortez Masto

John Fetterman

Ruben Gallego

Maggie Hassan

Mark Kelly

John Ossoff

Gary Peters

Jacky Rosen

Jeanne Shaheen

Elissa Slotkin

Mark Warner

Raphael Warnock

👉 If you know anyone in these states, text them today. Ask them to call their Senator and say:

“Please vote NO on the SAVE Act. It’s voter suppression, plain and simple.”

Thank you everyone for all you do!

In Solidarity, Indivisible St. Johns County
